Times Praises Clone Wars TV Series Writing / 7.12.08

At a special press-only preview screening Friday, insiders got their first look at the upcoming animated series.

The Los Angeles Times raves, "It just might be better than all the live-action prequels put together."

The review goes on to note that, "...It's the writing that puts it heads above the franchise's more recent additions."

Sci-Fi Slasher / 6.26.08

New Clone Wars Feature Trailer To Break Tomorrow / 5.7.08

The first theatrical trailer for STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS will premiere exclusively across multiple turner networks Thursday, May 8.

Additionally, the trailer will debut in theaters on Friday, May 9, along with the first poster (sneak peak at left) for the movie.

Krstic wrote mutliple episodes in the series that will take up the story of the Clone Wars where the feature leaves off.

Founded by Afro Samurai producer/writer Eric Calderon, the newly-formed Wild Boar Media has tapped George Krstic as their Consulting Editor.

Krstic and Calderon have been collaborators since the mid-nineties, where at MTV they worked together on the Emmy-nominated series Downtown.

Clone Wars To Air Friday Nights On Cartoon Network / 4.3.08

Today at the Cartoon Network Upfront presentation in New York City, George Lucas announced that the upcoming CG Clone Wars series will run on Friday evenings this fall.

George Krstic penned a number of the episodes that will be seen in the inital run on Cartoon Network, where he previously served as co-creator of the fan favorite sci-fi smackdown, Megas XLR.

DragonCon Appearances / 3.28.08

Krstic will be a featured guest at this year's DragonCon Convention hosted in Atlanta over the Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29 - Sept. 1.

Although a final schedule has yet to be announced, George is set to speak on at least two panels and sign autographs over the course of his first-ever DragonCon appearance.

Fast food chain Jollibee reveals its 2008 Megas XLR exclusive tie-ins - 3D "Megasipper" motion-cups.

Three different cups featuring the iconic robots of Megas will be available: Gorrath's Mech, Kiva's Drone, and of course, Megas. Look for them to hit this month.

Reporting on the the UK Toy Fair, The Force.net posts insiders have confirmed that the upcoming Clone Wars 3D animated series will have a feature debut this summer.

A writer on the series, Krstic scripted a number of the episodes that may be seen in the theatrical release.

Krstic Takes On Anime/Manga Classic / 1.31.08

Currently working with Studio Toei (One-Piece, Battle Royale) on a feature project, Krstic is in preliminary talks to adapt yet another of the Japanese media giant's classic properties.

Happy with Krstic's re-envisioning of one of their legacy titles, Toei is eager to capture lighting in a bottle and enlist his aid in re-booting another well known anime and manga series.

Yakuza Feature in 2008 / 1.03.08

Based on actual events taken from Tokyo's recent underworld history, Krstic's original live-action feature pitch, Manga Gundan, has been greenlit to go to script.

Still in early development, the property has already attracted the attention of one of Japan's biggest studios, as well an A-list star.

Comic Book Feature in Krstic's Future / 11.26.07

Based on a well-received pitch by George Krstic and Ryuhei Kitamura (Midnight Meat Train, Azumi), the duo is in preliminary discussions to resurrect a major comic book film franchise.

Although details are still under wraps, should the project go, lensing could start as early as summer 2008 with a release date to follow in spring of 2009.

Krstic Joins "The Family" / 11.09.07

Inspired by the multiple Academy Award winning films, as well as the best-selling books, George Krstic is in early talks to write on Boom Studio's new Godfather comic book and graphic novel series.

Batman Begins Producer Targets The Five Killers / 10.18.07

Batman producer Michael Uslan's production company, Comic Book Movies is in preliminary negotiations to produce a feature based on The Five Killers.

Krstic, Mark Waid (Flash, 52) and Five Killers creator Eric Calderon (Afro Samurai), are set to script the project.

Comic Book Movies is currently in production on Frank Miller's (Sin City, 300) adaptation of Will Eisner's comic book classic, The Spirit.

Gangster Feature Up Next for Krstic / 9.29.07

MSL Entertainment has signed Krstic to script Manga Gundan (Comic Book Gang) - a live-action feature based on actual events.

Although the plot is still under wraps, the film will be set against an unlikely union between two of Tokyo's underworlds - organized crime and manga collectors.

Krstic is in early talks to script a feature based on the Fusion Fall manga he co-wrote as a Comic Con exclusive.

Due in part to an overwhelmingly positive reaction to the manga, Cartoon Network is now considering doing a feature to kick off the Fusion Fall online video game launch next year.

Dark Vault Feature Fast-tracked / 8.10.07

With an approved script written by Krstic, the horror feature is tentatively set to start production by the end of the year.
